Bridget’s Dance Academy was founded by Bridget Rowsey in 2009, with our first official season beginning in 2010.

What started as a dream has grown into a thriving dance family that continues to evolve year after year.

Over the past 16 seasons, BDA has proudly outgrown three studio spaces in the Huntington area — including our third location, a custom-built, state-of-the-art facility. As our dancers and programs continue to grow, so does our vision. We are currently working toward our fourth (and hopefully final 😉) custom, state-of-the-art building, with plans to move in by 2027.

In addition to our Huntington roots, we’ve expanded into Putnam County with our second location in Hurricane, West Virginia, allowing us to serve even more dancers and families in the region.

Giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. We are proud to offer two free dance programs that provide access and opportunity to dancers in our area. Our Hurricane location also expands beyond dance, offering art and music classes to further inspire creativity in our students.

At Bridget’s Dance Academy, growth has always been about more than space — it’s about creating a place where dancers are challenged, supported, and inspired to become their very best, both on and off the stage.
