About Us
Bridget’s Dance Academy offers a variety of dance classes including Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Boys Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical / Contemporary, Acro-Tumble, Creative Movement, Mommy & Me, and Move & Groove. Our facility is also available for Birthday Party/Shower rentals. Our instructors are highly trained to provide the best training for your dancer, they also provide private dance lessons for students as well as wedding dances for couples/father-daughter/wedding party. BDA has been recognized regionally and nationally for excellence in dance including Regional Champions for five consecutive years, and World Champions at Starquest World Finals in 2016. Our Competitive Company has performed on national stages such Downtown Disney Performing Arts Stage, Kings Island, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and all over the east coast! Here at BDA we believe in teaching dance in a positive, inviting atmosphere to help students grow and fall in love with the art of dance!
Bridget's Dance Academy was voted the top dance academy in the Tri-State Region for the past 4-years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019!
In 2015, Bridget’s Dance Academy received the Studio of Excellence Award by the Association of Dance Conventions and Competitions at the Applause Talent regional competition based on the criteria of excellence in performance, sportsmanship, or teamwork. bringing that something special to the competition or the industry, providing a full range of dance styles and genres and for being prepared for competition--showing up on time and consistently following the rules.
About Bridget
Bridget Watters Rowsey, Owner/Choreographer of Bridget’s Dance Academy has been dancing for 20 years and has received her training from various schools locally and nationally. She has been teaching dance in the community of Huntington since 2004 and has grown “Bridget’s Dance Academy” over the past six years. She has danced in numerous competitive companies, high school dance team, and was a member of Marshall University’s Dance Team then became head coach of the the MU dance team from 2008-2015. Bridget has a unique style of choreography that fuses various styles of dance and athletic ability. She has had a love and passion for dance since she was a young child and is excited to share that with Bridget’s Dance Academy students and families.

Bridget and her husband, Michael, live in Huntington, with their son Callum Ray and daughter Shadyn Hope. They are both passionate about the arts, youth and living real lives for God!
