ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE CO.
Bridget’s Dance Academy Performance Company is a competition-focused program for dancers who are passionate about excellence, artistry, and performance. Designed for committed dancers, our company offers advanced training, high-level choreography, and extensive performance opportunities.
Dancers receive intensive instruction that emphasizes strong technical foundation, versatility across multiple styles, and exceptional performance quality. While competition is a central focus, we believe the most impactful performances are those that blend technical precision with artistry, musicality, and emotional storytelling. Each routine is thoughtfully crafted to challenge dancers while allowing their individuality and creativity to shine.
Our performance company travels regionally across the East Coast and Midwest, competing at top competitions and conventions. Bi-annually, our dancers also compete at the national level, gaining valuable exposure, experience, and insight into the demands of high-level competitive dance. Through these opportunities, dancers develop discipline, teamwork, professionalism, and confidence both on and off the stage.
At Bridget’s Dance Academy, we train dancers to compete with purpose, perform with heart, and grow as dedicated artists prepared for the next level.

Bridget’s Dance Academy Prep Company is a branch of our Performance Company created for dancers who are ready to experience the excitement of competitive dance with a lighter, more flexible commitment. The BDA Prep Co. offers a supportive, team-focused environment with fewer required in-studio hours than our traditional company, making it an ideal option for dancers balancing school, other activities, or a gentle, gradual transition into competitive dance.
Dancers in Prep Co. receive high-quality technical training, perform thoughtfully age-appropriate choreography, and represent Bridget’s Dance Academy at local competitions only, allowing families to enjoy the thrill of the stage without extensive travel or time away.
This program emphasizes steady growth, boosted confidence, strong teamwork, and polished performance skills—while keeping the schedule manageable, fun, and creatively fulfilling. Prep Co. is perfect for dancers who want the excitement of competition, robust training, and the camaraderie of a team, without the full-time commitment of our Performance Company; our Mini Company team is automatically included in our Prep Co. offering.
